Updated 8/12/2009.
A small number of us are playing EQ2. We're on Befallen. Heh. It's mainly the "usual suspects", and a few we've picked up via random groupings. There's people on most nights though. ;)
Updated 3/18/3009 ... creepy. I randomly decided to update on the same day I updated last year.
Anyway. A decent number of us are playing WAR on the Badlands server (Destruction side) under the PM banner. We're a Guild Rank 16 guild. A few others are in another guild we are allied with. It's a lot higher guild rank and a more "structured" guild.
PM's recruitment policy is ... interesting. ;)
Depending on who you ask to join... you have to either be:
1. A living human
or
2. Really good at playing the game in question
Makes you wonder who you should ask, eh?
Anyway, if you're looking for a "real" guild with lots of rules, and scheduled events every single day, and that kind of thing... this isn't it. We pretty much do whatever we want, whenever we want. Some days we're focused on higher level stuff, other days we just mess around on low level alts. Most of us have multiple level 40 characters in WAR, but we don't always focus on them.
So why would you want to join? Good question. It's best left answered by...you!
(preserving old info below.)
New Info (3/18/2008)
We have a tiny presence in EQ2. 2 people currently; hopefully more eventually.
We have a small proto-guild in The Lord of the Rings Online, and several other PM founder types play LOTRO and are in other guilds.
Older Info
As of May 2007, several of the founders of PM have returned to EQ2.
We're not really actively recruiting (we never did anyway), but we're certainly not opposed to having a few cool new people come on board.
We have no leader. The officers are all equal and all policy decisions are made by all of us getting together and calling each other pigfuckers and the like until we agree on something. Trust me, you don't want a part of it. :D
There are no requirements to join, except that you promise you're not an asshole, and you don't have an expectations of the guild. :D We do stuff, we have fun, someday we might even do a raid. But really we're just playing and doing stuff.
PM has a "sister guild" of sorts in Lord of the Rings Online. It is named Ring Guard of Rivendell and has its own site at http://www.ringguard.org/ RGR is a more serious guild, but the leader and some of the officers are also members and founders of PM. If you play LOTRO, check out RGR. We're on Elendilmir.

Recruiting into PMH for all characters is more or less: get to know us,
and then we shall see. We are mostly in EST/CST and typically have people on playing from 7pm EST to 1am EST.
We're being very selective for many reasons -- too many and too complex to really spell out here in a forum post. Go to http://www.neriak.com/Xeg/ and read a large number of old posts, and not just in the EQ areas. If, after reading a lot of those, you are NOT offended by anything you read, then you may fit in with this weird bunch.
There are some basic things that you need to be aware of in regards to
what you can expect from us and what we expect from you:
1) The leadership of this guild is made up of people that have known each other for a number of years. It might seem clique-ish to a new member, and to be frank, it kind of is. That doesn't mean that we don't like you or aren't glad you're around, but you likely haven't grown with us yet.
2) We're relaxed. Mostly anyway. We've been puttering around questing and playing alts. We're a mature group that have jobs and lives outside the game. You're certainly entitled to do the same.
3) We typically use a chat channel to communicate and, frankly, if you want to feel more like you belong, you should use it to banter. You'll find out more easily if you fit in that way and so will we.
4) You don't have to understand Troll, Ogre or 7337$p3@k, but sometimes it can come in handy.
5) Chat can be and often is crude and of a sexual nature. Really, we expect that if you're interested in joining us that you understand that we don't want to have to watch what we say all that much when you're in channel. If you're invited and don't like what you see, just say as much and we'll say our farewells.
6) Whenever possible extend as much courtesy as you can to other members. Offer to help out on quests and try not pester with your help requests. If you show up to help people a few times they're bound to notice and look for ways to help you.
7) This is a big one and it's a hard expectation to hold people to. If you're looking for a guild and you're portraying yourself as someone that kind of fits into the preconceived mold that we have for a prospect, then you'll understand this (particularly if you've been in a mid-level raiding guild before): We really don't want to have people that join for a month or two, get kitted up and then bolt. It's not fair either for us to expect you to stay if there's someplace else you'd rather be. So what it's likely to come down to is a lot of information being exchanged. Your playstyle and ours, what you tell us your expectations are and whether we feel that you're looking out for everyone as well as for yourself.
8) The leadership will do its best to remain impartial in cases when there is a dispute. It's up to you to understand that we're also only normal people like you (well, maybe not so normal, but I digress...) and can make mistakes, or get angry and say stupid things too.
9) You will also be required to strive to own a personal pet duck that you will name Sevok. It's odd, but its one of our few rules. You may optionally carry a Cabbage named Prevost and speak to it often. Up to you!
Rank in the guild
_____________________________________________________________
Leader: Always someone that's been with us for a long time, been a good friend and a good person. We don't have a single leader in PMH, but rather many.
Officer: Also longtime friends and alts of Leaders to avoid confusion, and add to it. Members can become officers over time by proving themselves trustworthy and just being overall good people.
Member: A guild member that's finished with recruitment phase. A member should feel more at ease requesting assistance with quests and/or collecting items/rewards.
Recruit: A new recruit.
Recruit to Member:
_____________________________________________________________
The transition from recruit to full member will take place over the course of three weeks. With our limited playtimes it would be better to grant you more time to get to know everyone as well as give some of the more rare loggers-on a chance to talk to you too.
After two weeks have passed, we'll put up a poll and vote on your application. The poll will be up for one week and allow members to post comments and/or speak about issues that might need to be addressed.
Once the poll is closed, provided that you have at least ten points (from the poll) and no negative five votes (members are required to submit a PM to an officer regarding any negative five votes or it is dismissed) you'll be bumped up to Member rank in the guild.
Raids
_____________________________________________________________
Theoretically, when raid events start happening, we're probably going to use a points system for it since really, that seems the fairest, however with the 24 player raid limit there's some discussion that still needs to take place in regards to player rotations or similar particularly if we go the alliance route.
We have yet to work out details about hydras (which are still rare in eq2) and guests too.
Loot
_____________________________________________________________
In guild groups the general expectation is Need Before Greed. If a class-specific item drops that someone in the group can use, let them have it and they should do the same for you. You aren't required to NBG in guild groups, but it comes back to the expectation of courtesy.
Items that drop that no one in the group needs are FFA, free for all lotto. However, you may want to consider that someone offline at the time or not in the group might need said drop. You don't have to give it up if you don't want to, but it might not hurt to ask them if they need it.
Finally
_____________________________________________________________
If all of this hasn't scared you away then start a new thread in the Recruitment forum and in your post include your character's name, level, tell us why you think Primordial Malice/Honour is where you want to be, what your usual play times are, give a small bit of your story/gaming history and briefly describe your goals in EQ2.
If you want clarification on any of these points please PM or talk to in-game: Lummy/Lummoxx, Omnikain, Skincut/Prevost or Rhyianna.
Thanks.
